Nollywood actress Mary Njoku has queried the essence of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, in gaining admission into Nigerian Universities.

She wondered why the Senior School Certificate Examination, SSCE, isn’t enough to gain admission into institutions of higher learning.

Mary Njoku stated that she doesn’t understand the need for JAMB and post-UTME when the SSCE proves that candidates have completed secondary school.
