Nollywood actress Chizzy Alichi has narrated her emotional motherhood story following the birth of her first child.

The actress revealed that her son was born prematurely at 30 weeks and spent 25 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Chizzy Alichi Narrates How She Had Her Son Premature

Describing the experience as the most difficult period of her life, Chizzy recounted the challenges she faced during pregnancy, including a medical condition that forced her into prolonged bed rest at home and in the hospital.

“I don’t even know where to start from. But all I can say is thank you, God Almighty, for what you have done for me and my family.”

Chizzy shared how she turned to faith in desperation, joining online prayer groups, giving tithes to multiple churches, frequenting the chapel, and performing acts of charity in orphanages and on the streets. She also emotionally mentioned how she often prayed with her late father’s portrait, seeking strength and a sign from him.

“I cried, I prayed… I did everything that came to my head,” she wrote. “But God is too faithful to fail. Those who trust Him can never be put to shame.”

In April, Chizzy Alichi took the internet with heart-warming photos from her maternity shoot

The actress and her husband, Ugochukwu Chike-Mbah, got married in December 2020.

On Friday, April 25, Chizzy Alichi flooded her official Instagram page with her pre-maternity pictures, exposing her baby bump for all to see.

She captioned the pictures,

“He made everything beautiful in its time, Ecclesiastes 3:11,” hinting at the birth of her first child.

Nigerian singer and songwriter Simi has opened up about why she doesn’t have friends within the entertainment industry.

She also revealed that her personality may not align with the demands of the spotlight.

In a recent interview with media personality VJ Adams, Simi explained that she has no friends in the entertainment industry because she’s rather introverted, and her friends are her friends.

“My friends in the industry they’re my guys. They’re not friends because they are in the industry,” she explained
