A suspected traffic thief who stole hair valued at N20 million from a moving truck on Lagos’ CMS-Marina Bridge has been taken into custody by the Lagos Police Command.
In a statement released on Thursday, Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the Command, revealed that a member of the robbery ring was apprehended in Marina’s vehicle pack while carrying a sizable sack full of hair.
He noted that the arrest was a swift response to a tip-off about a highway theft, and detectives of the Ebute-Ero division apprehended the injured suspect, who jumped from the bridge.

“On April 25, 2025, a criminal gang stole a large sack filled with assorted human hairs valued at approximately ₦20 million from a moving truck, unknown to the driver, while in transit along the CMS-Marina Bridge.
