Suspected criminals from the Anfani community assaulted Aliyu Mohammed and his wife on their property in Kashikoko village, Lavun Local Government Area, Niger state, resulting in a violent incident.

It was discovered that a long-standing farming conflict was at the centre of the Friday incident.

Additionally, it was revealed that the pair was severely beaten by the criminals, resulting in injuries to the woman and the husband’s kidnapping to an unidentified place.

“The wife was reportedly beaten and injured, while the husband was abducted to an unknown destination,” he stated.
