Urhobo PDP Leaders Pays Condolence Visit To Late Gen Oneya’s Family

WARRI: The entire families of people Democratic Party (PDP) in Ughelli North, has paid a condolence visit to the family of late Gen. Dominic Oneya on his demise.

The PDP family paid a condolence to the late General family on Saturday 14th August 2021.

Sitted to welcome the PDP family were the immediate family members and a solid representation of Agbarho community and politicians.

Speaking at the occasion, the Chairman of the PDP in Ughelli North, Chief Lawrence Agbatutu extolled the enviable qualities of the Late Gen Oneya, and immensely regretted his transition.

Present at the Condolence Visit were the Chief of Staff, Olorogun Festus Ovie Agas, Chairman of the PDP Elders and Leaders Council, Mr. David Ejukonemu, Publicity Secretary, Olorogun Surv Terry Noah, Chief Barr A K Osawota, Hon Eric Oharisi, Omiragwa Sam Mariere, Chairman, Ughelli North LGA Chief Godwin Adode, Chief Goddey Oduma and a host of the PDP faithfuls all of which maintained a solemn disposition of mourning.

Hon Ovie Festus Agas relayed Gen Oneya’s sterling professional and other service achievements in Nigeria, Delta State and Urhobo land.

He noted that the General led a good life manifested in the quality of children he bred and the teeming followership of the PDP family who admired him so much.

Responding on behalf of the Oneya family, Mr Anthony Oneya, thanked the Visitors noting that burial has reached advanced stage.

He stated that, “the best respect that should be given to my late Dad is to keep his legacy sailing in terms of loyalty to the Party and having a good sense of objective foresight in leadership”.

The Leadership of the PDP then signed the Condolence register.
