At least eleven political parties have banded together with the express goal of ousting Senator Bassey Otu, the current governor of Cross River State.
Following an important meeting in Calabar yesterday, the coalition was established.
Prior to the federal elections in 2027, the ten political parties’ leaders unanimously decided to join the alliance.
The group mocked the administration and expressed disapproval of the APC’s leadership in the state.
They tasked the ruling party with restoring good governance and guaranteeing accountability and openness in the state’s daily operations.

The Coalition cautioned the ruling APC not to kneel on the neck of democracy and transform the state into a one-party state in a statement signed by Rev. Omaleko Efut Omaleko, the APGA’s state chairman and director of communication and strategy.
