Flying Eagles Pip Amateur Side Tripple 44 FC 3-0

The Nigeria Flying Eagles showed their preparedness by sending a strong message to their opponent ahead of the 2020 WAFU Zone B qualifier following an emphatic 3-0 win over Ibadan based amateur club Tripple 44 FC on Tuesday.

The Nigeria Flying Eagles showed their preparedness by sending a strong message to their opponent ahead of the 2020 WAFU Zone B qualifier following an emphatic 3-0 win over Ibadan based amateur club Tripple 44 FC on Tuesday.

The Flying Eagles who have been training ahead of the competition played their first test game with head coach, Ladan Bosso fielding a strong side that comprised of  Chukwueze Lambert, Isaiah Ejeh, Chris Nweze, Imoh Obit ,Rabiu Mohammed, Etim Charles, Samuel Amadi, Emmanuel Ngwala, Farayola Olawale, Chukwudi Igbokwe and Chukwubuikem Ikwuemesi for the game.

Bosso tutored took charge of the game from the onset and went side has been training ahead of the competition slated in Togo from November 14 in Lome.

Theunionnigeria.com sports correspondent learnt from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) that Ladan Bosso fielded a strong team that comprises of Chukwueze Lambert, Isaiah Ejeh, Chris Nweze, Imoh Obit ,Rabiu Mohammed, Etim Charles, Samuel Amadi, Emmanuel Ngwala, Farayola Olawale, Chukwudi Igbokwe and Chukwubuikem Ikwuemesi for the game.

Nigeria will face Ghana and the Petite Elephants of Cote d’l voire in Group B of the tournament

Host nation Togo, Niger, Benin Republic and Burkina Faso will compete in Group A.

The top two teams (finalists) in each qualification zone will qualify for the main tournament which has now been expanded to twelve teams, in Mauritania next year.
