Organizers of the much-anticipated Celebrity Fashion Weekend wish to officially announce a change in the event date. Originally scheduled for July 5th, the highly celebrated fashion showcase will now take place on Friday, July 4th, 2025.
The event, themed “Akugbe”—a Benin word for unity—remains a one-day fashion and cultural extravaganza, designed to spotlight unity through style, creativity, and celebrity influence. The venue and all other arrangements remain unchanged.
This shift in date comes in response to internal logistics to better accommodate our guests, talents, and international partners. An unforgettable fashion experience that upholds excellence, inclusivity, and cultural pride.

Meanwhile, Benin City’s local economy is expected to see a significant boost as the event welcomes hundreds of visitors, vendors, and exhibitors from across Nigeria. This ranges from hotel bookings and food vendors to transport services and local artisans.
Also, the trade fair and fashion showcase will stimulate small business activities, creating short-term jobs and long-term opportunities for growth.
