Former Miss Nigeria, Ezinne Akudo, has debunked longstanding rumours that allege she was married to ex-Super Eagles star Emmanuel Emenike
Clarifying the rumors, the beauty queen reiterated that she has never been married and has never even met the footballer.
In a recent interview, Akudo addressed the persistent speculation, which falsely claimed she was previously married to Emenike and that he divorced her before marrying his current wife.
She explained that although she once attended Emenike’s wedding, it was simply because she knew his bride, not the footballer himself.
“I’ve never met Emmanuel Emenike. I was invited to his wedding by someone I knew,” she said.
Ezinne Akudo admitted she initially dismissed the rumours, assuming they would fade with time, but their persistence prompted her to speak out publicly to set the record straight.

“It’s gone on for like years now…The first time the story came out, I thought it was a joke. But then it kept popping up. Every few years.”
