Pastor Jerry Eze, the senior pastor of Streams of Joy International, says he would not like to be recognized as a professional pastor.
While speaking with Chude Jideonwo, the 42-year-old stated that he is not a professional pastor.
He said that he never planned to be where he is, emphasising that he makes sure his life and ministry revolve around God.
“I am not a professional pastor; the day I become a professional pastor, let God kill me. Let me leave this whole thing… the day it ceases to be about God and become about Jerry, then let the Lord close down everything,” he said.

Jerry Eze also explained that his ministry is focused on enriching the spiritual lives of Christians regardless of age.

“Saturday morning after the NSPPD prayer conference in Lagos we got on a flight and as soon as we got on the flight coming back, before we even took off the air hostess I just requested to see the pilot.
The air hostess walked up to me and he said papa you are not comfortable, I said my spirit is not accepting the pilot.”
