South Korean model and TV star Kim Jong Suk is dead. He was 29 at the time of his demise.
The model passed away on Thursday, June 4th, 2025. He was buried two days later.
Kim Jong Suk began his modelling career in 2014 and is famous for his charming appearance on the dating reality show ‘Skip Dating’ in 2022.
Kim’s sister expressed her grief on social media days after his passing. She pleaded that fake news surrounding the cause of his death be brought down.

“We are in the middle of funeral preparations, overwhelmed and heartbroken. But I’m seeing so many baseless and false claims spreading across online communities.
At first, we chose not to respond, hoping Jong Suk could rest in peace. But now, it has gone too far. I’ve requested the removal of these articles. We will soon release a summary of the police recording and a statement from the friend who was with him at the time,” she said.

Bain, a member of the K-pop boy band Just B, has opened up about his sexuality, revealing that he is gay.
The 23-year-old opened up about his sexuality during a concert in Los Angeles.
This is a rare move in a high-pressure Korean music industry, where artists are very guarded about their private lives.

Bain, while performing a solo, said:
“I’m proud to be a part of the LGBTQ+ community—as a gay person.”
Videos shared on social media showed the crowd responding with loud cheers.
“To anyone out there who’s part of the LGBTQ+ community, or still figuring it out, this is for you. You are seen, you are loved, and you were born this way,” he added.

According to the Korean media outlet News1, Bain is the first male K-pop star to come out publicly.
After Tuesday’s performance, Bain’s bandmate Siwoo left a message of support on a fan platform, saying, “I was watching from backstage, and I cried too. I cried even more because I knew how hard it was for him.”
