Social media users have expressed concern for Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo, after his first public appearance after months of social media silence
The light-skinned actor, known for his charm and versatility on screen, had been absent from Instagram since December 30, 2024, sparking speculation about his well-being.
However, a recent video that surfaced online has brought him back into the spotlight, though not without raising further questions.
In the viral clip, Alexx Ekubo was seen interacting with a group of children, appearing noticeably slimmer and subdued. The video, posted by user @AsakyGRN on X (formerly Twitter), was captioned: “Alex Ekubo spotted for the first time since disappearing from social media.”

The footage triggered a wave of emotional reactions from fans, many of whom noted a significant change in his appearance.
“He lost a lot of weight; I hope he is fine,” one user wrote.
Another commenter, @CaptainJosy, stated, “He doesn’t seem okay. I hope all is well with him.”
Others shared words of empathy and encouragement.

Afrobeats artist, David Adeleke, aka Davido, has eulogised his wife, Chioma Adeleke, for her love for his children from other women.
Davido, who had three children from different baby mamas before getting married to Chioma, noted that the chef’s love for his other kids was one of the things he loved about her.
He spoke at Chioma’s surprise 30th birthday in Atlanta, Georgia, where he gifted her a brand new car.
“I love the way you love my kids that are not even yours. So Chioma, enjoy your 30th birthday. As we celebrate your 30th, we will also celebrate your 40th, 50th, 60th, 70th, 80th, 90th, 100th and so forth,” he said.
Davido and Chioma have twins together after losing their first son, Ifeanyi, in a swimming pool accident at the singer’s Lagos mansion in November 2022.
