Nollywood actress, Pat Ugwu has passed on at the age of 35.

Actor Emeka Okoye announced her sad demise in an Instagram post on Wednesday February 5th, 2025.

Expressing shock about Pat Ugwu’s sudden departure, Okoye shared her funeral details.

Speaking about his fears, the actor described the recent spate of losses in the Nigeria movie industry as unusual.

“Rest in peace sis. Pat Ugwu. So we no get to work again? Death why? Rest in peace PAT. May your soul rest in the bosom of the Lord.

“God please protect all my colleagues especially those I’m close to. This unusual Death is frightening. I proclaim life to everyone close to me in this 2025 in the precious blood of Jesus. Amen.”

In related news, Brazilian porn star, Anna Beatriz Pereira Alves, aka as Anna Polly, has died.

The OnlyFans star died from a tragic fall from a hotel balcony in Nova Iguaçu, northwest of Rio de Janeiro while filming for the adult content site.

Anna Polly is said to have fallen during X-rated scenes with two men she reportedly invited to the hotel for a threesome.

Reviewing the CCTV footage after questioning the hotel staff, Baixada Fluminense Homicide Unit noted that the investigation is still ongoing, as her mobile phone is also being examined for potential evidence.

According to the Mirror, the two men she invited gave conflicting statements about the events leading up to her death.

The police described the incident as “complex,” considering all possibilities, from a tragic accident to potential foul play.

According to the police:

“We are conducting a thorough investigation to determine what happened. This is a complex case, and we are not ruling out any scenario, from an accident to a possible crime.”

The incident reportedly occurred at the four-star Mont Blanc Apart Hotel.
