Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck argued with police officers, claiming that it was unlawful for them to detain him at an event on Saturday morning.
After informing Odumodublvck that he had received an invitation, an officer was heard questioning him about why he was resisting arrest in a video that has gone viral.
“You received an invitation; it’s alright. Now, I would like to know if you are against an arrest. The policeman asked, “Tell me why you are not following the police if you are not resisting an arrest.”

In response to the officer, Odumodublvck questioned the police officers’ jurisdiction and stated that his solicitors had already handled the case.
“You don’t have any jurisdiction; that’s what you want to do. Don’t tell me to wait,” he said.

“My lawyers came to your office; I am not resisting arrest; it was attended to,” Odumodublvck said.
He also claimed that he could not be taken away from the venue because of a court order, while accusing the officers of trying to restrict his right to speak publicly about the matter.
“It is illegal to take me from here, my brother. You’re telling me not to tweet, not to speak,” he said.
The video ends with Odumodublvck continuing to challenge the officers over the attempted arrest and insisting that the matter had already been addressed by his lawyers.

“In Nigeria, I have a case, and the police have tried to arrest me several times because of the people who went to report me to them because I’ve been raging war against them.
“They try to arrest me, so anytime you hear that I have been arrested, just know that it’s because of Blaqbonez.
