Nigerian singer Stanley Omah Didia, aka Omah Lay, has revealed that money is the antidote to his depressed state.
The ‘Soso’ crooner disclosed this in a post on social media on Tuesday, June 24th. He claims that 10 million pounds or dollars could make him feel better for at least a month.
Omah Lay, who has openly discussed his struggles with chronic depression, which nearly took his life, wrote via his X handle on Tuesday, “10M in pounds or dollars right now will heal me for at least a month.”

The singer has hinted that his sophomore album, ‘Clarity of Mind’, will focus on his healing journey from depression.
His debut album, ‘Boy Alone’, which was released on July 15, 2022, found the singer detailing his depression in soulful renditions.
On July 18, 2022, Omah Lay shared via his X handle that his depression worsened after he had a sexual affair with his therapist.
Earlier in May, Omah Lay, was involved in a car accident in Lagos.
The singer who recently featured in Davido’s ‘With You’ was unhurt after the accident involving his two Tesla trucks.
Although the accident details are still sketchy, videos posted from the accident scene by music executive Adesope ‘Shopsydoo’ Olajide indicate it might have occurred at night somewhere on the island.

Omah Lay looked unscathed in the aftermath of the accident. He could be seen walking freely in one of the videos. Another video showed how the two damaged Tesla trucks were loaded onto a towing vehicle as the accident scene was cleared.
Meanwhile, Valeria Marquez, a 23-year-old Mexican social media influencer, was killed during a TikTok live stream. The sad event occurred at her beauty salon in Guadalajara.
The Jalisco state prosecutor’s office reported that a man entered the salon in the Zapopan suburb and fired at Marquez during her livestream.
The video shows her sitting at a table holding a stuffed animal moments before the fatal shooting. The livestream abruptly ends when another person picks up her phone and stops the recording.
