Nigerian music legend Daddy Showkey has revealed how iconic fuji artist Alabi Pasuma cared for his family when he had an accident in 2007, feeding his family for three years.
Daddy Showkey stated this publicly when Pasuma joined him on stage during his recent live performance at a celebrity event.
The singer in a viral video on social media explained that Pasuma was the only friend who came through for him when he had an accident in 2007.
Narrating the incident, Daddy Showkey disclosed that the fatal accident left him in the hospital for 3 years, and Pasuma was the one who took over his family responsibilities.
While describing Pasuma as his only friend in the industry, he stated that many of his friends and colleagues refused to help him even when he visited their house after the incident.

“You see, this man, he stood by me during bad times and good times. Many people didn’t see me in public or sing for years because I had an accident in 2007. I was in the hospital for three years. Pasuma was the one taking care of my family. I can never forget him in my life.
“After I recovered, I visited others but they didn’t give me the opportunity to see them not to talk of helping. When I got to their houses they would tell me that they were not around even when they were inside the house,” Daddy Showkey said.
Nigerian singer Stanley Omah Didia, aka Omah Lay, has revealed that money is the antidote to his depressed state.

The ‘Soso’ crooner disclosed this in a post on social media on Tuesday, June 24th. He claims that 10 million pounds or dollars could make him feel better for at least a month.
Omah Lay, who has openly discussed his struggles with chronic depression, which nearly took his life, wrote via his X handle on Tuesday, “10M in pounds or dollars right now will heal me for at least a month.”
The singer has hinted that his sophomore album, ‘Clarity of Mind’, will focus on his healing journey from depression.
His debut album, ‘Boy Alone’, which was released on July 15, 2022, found the singer detailing his depression in soulful renditions.
