Controversial Singer, Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable was on Tuesday released on bail, after an online feud with Fuji star Saheed Osupa.

It was learnt that Portable had a clean shave of his multi-coloured hair before his release.

His release followed the withdrawal of the petition against him by Saheed Osupa, who was in Ilorin for the case.

Official sources at the Oke-Kura custodial centre in Ilorin informed our correspondent that Portable was released 3:30 pm on Tuesday after a variation of his bail conditions by the authorities.

Two of his wives were with him at the time of his release by the prison authorities at the Oke-Kura custodial centre.

Portable was arrested on Saturday in Abeokuta, Ogun State, and brought to Ilorin by operatives of the Kwara State Police Command for alleged criminal intimidation, defamation and threat to life against Saheed Osupa.

In a positive turn of events, the rift between Fuji music icon, King Saheed Osupa and  Portable, has been amicably resolved out of court.

Speaking on the development, King Saheed Osupa displayed maturity and magnanimity, noting that the issue would be handled as a “father and son matter,” putting an end to the public dispute.

According to renowned showbiz promoter and CEO of Yankee Entertainment, Kehinde Adegbite, also known as Mallam Yankee—the new management representing Portable—a virtual meeting was convened where both parties agreed to settle the matter privately.

Mallam Yankee expressed deep appreciation to all those who played roles in facilitating the reconciliation.

He specially thanked entertainment veterans and industry stakeholders including Daddy Showkey, Pasuma Wonder, Abu Abel, Bankulli, Dr. Ezekiel Adamu, and many others for their intervention and support.

The ‘Zazoo Zeh’ hitmaker initially called out Osupa, using derogatory terms like “big for nothing,” which sparked backlash on social media.

However, Portable apologised to Osupa, blaming his temper for the outburst.
