Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, and Tanzanian singer Juma Jux have tied the knot in a traditional wedding ceremony in Lagos.

The ceremony, which took place on Thursday, was attended by friends and family members who came to wish the couple well.

The couple also shared photos from their wedding event on Instagram, in which they both stunned in traditional blue outfits.

The lovebirds previously held their traditional Islamic wedding ceremony in February in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Priscilla and Jux’s love story began to unfold in July 2024, when they publicly announced their relationship on social media.

Born on March 13, 2001, Priscilla is a graduate of Media and Theater Arts from Babcock University.

She made her acting debut at the age of 14 in the movie ‘Beyond Disability’.

Her performance earned her a nomination in the Best of Nollywood (BON) Award for the ‘Best Child Actress’ category.

Jux, on the other hand, was born Juma Mussa Mkambala on September 1, 1989.

He began his music career at the age of 16 and signed into A.M Records in 2008.

His music is a blend of RnB, Bongo Flava, and Afrobeats. His hit songs include ‘Enjoy’, ‘NitasubirI’, ‘Fashion Killer’, ‘Sugua’, ‘Juu’ and ‘Nidhibiti’.

He has also earned many awards for his craft. He is considered one of the biggest artists in Tanzania and East Africa.

In February, Priscilla Ojo reacted to the backlash, alleging that her father, Ademidun Ojo, wasn’t invited to her wedding.

Priscilla tied the knot with her lover, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, in an Islamic ceremony on Friday, February 7th. The wedding party took place in Tanzania.

However, her father’s absence at the ceremony fuelled rumours of a strained relationship, with many users accusing her of sidelining her father in her wedding preparations.

Ademidun Ojo’s absence sparked debates about a possible rift between him and his ex-wife, Iyabo Ojo.

Responding to the criticism, Priscilla took to her Snapchat story. There she shared the screenshot of a video call with her father
