Nigerian socialite Tiamiu Abdulrahman Kayode, aka Rahman Jago, has responded to news reports about the arrest of dancer Poco Lee in the UK.
Rahman Jago, who spoke via his X account, called the discovery “painful and heartbreaking”, pointing out that Poco Lee is well-known for his upbeat demeanour and capacity to make people happy.
He advised individuals not to seek attention from the scandal and hinted that there might be more to the problem than what is now known to the public.

“Seeing my brother go through such a serious and painful situation is heartbreaking. I know the person he is, and I truly believe there is more to this situation than what people may have heard.
“This is not the time to chase clout. We all know Poco to be a joy giver, and this is when he needs us the most. May we never be in a situation where only God is our witness,” he wrote.
Poco Lee is awaiting trial after being placed under remand in a prison in the United Kingdom.

Fans and colleagues in the entertainment sector have responded to the news in different ways.
Just last week, rapper Ms Jorji accused Poco Lee of sexual misconduct during a 2024 encounter in Dallas, Texas.
The event comes after extensive media coverage of the performer’s alleged legal issues and arrest in the UK.
Recounting the alleged incident, Ms Jorji revealed that she had accepted an invitation to Poco Lee’s flat with a female friend and that she was seeking professional advice and mentoring for her music career.
According to her, the situation allegedly escalated when the entertainer made unwanted physical advances toward her before attempting similar advances on her friend and allegedly trying to force her into a separate room.
She stated that they managed to fight off the advances, immediately exited the premises, and drove several hours back to their destination that same night.
Addressing why she stayed silent for years, the rapper explained that fear and intimidation prevented her from coming forward, adding that she doubted the public would believe her testimony against a prominent entertainment figure.
“Two years ago, Pocolee tried to rape my friend and me; we ended up beating him and pushing him off,” she said.
