According to reports, Tanzanian demonstrators looted musician Juma Jux’s clothing store.
Following a contentious general election in which Tanzania’s leading opposition leaders were disqualified and imprisoned, violence broke out on Thursday.
The demonstrators claim that there were anomalies in the nation’s presidential election and are calling for the results to be cancelled.
Amidst the events, an X user named Bolaji Fesomade made a contentious post in which he claimed that protesters had set fire to the singer’s $780 million store.

On her Snapchat account, Juma Jux’s wife, Priscilla Ojo, responded to the article by refuting the allegations, stating that the store was looted rather than burned.
She simply wrote; “Looted not Burnt”.

In May, popular content creator and influencer Enioluwa Adeoluwa bragged about being the third person to hear when his best friend, Priscilla Ojo, was pregnant.
He stated that Priscilla Ojo Mkambala would inform after her mom, actress Iyabo Ojo, and her husband, singer Juma Jux, and then himself.
The influencer made the revelation while addressing newsmen in Tanzania.
Enioluwa was in the country for the final leg of Priscilla and Jumax’s wedding. Upon his arrival, he was asked to confirm Priscilla’s rumoured pregnancy.
The interviewer: “You will be an uncle very soon. Priscilla is pregnant.”
Enioluwa replied:
“The questions you guys ask me shock me so much. Priscy is pregnant? Where? Today is the first day I’m hearing it, too. Upstairs, people were saying Priscy is pregnant.”
The interviewer asked, “You don’t know?”
Enioluwa Adeoluwa replied:
“I don’t know that she is pregnant. If Priscy is pregnant, I’m sure I am the first person after her mother and her husband to know. She will tell me. I will be the third person to know. She hasn’t told me anything of such a sort. But I think if it’s a private issue, then yeah. Everybody wants them to have children. I’m sure when it is the right time, they will have children.”
