Popular Nigerian social critic VeryDarkMan aka VDM, has revealed why the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) recently arrested him.
VeryDarkMan was arrested on Friday, 2nd May, following a visit to a GTBank branch in Abuja.
His detention sparked widespread reactions across the country, as fans and celebrities staged protests at EFCC offices, condemning what they described as an unlawful detention.

Speaking after his release, VeryDarkMan disclosed that the authorities suspected him of involvement in money laundering.
Expressing disbelief at the allegations, he stated in a viral video circulating on social media that he does not possess the kind of wealth that would justify such suspicions.
