In a post on X on Sunday, Mr. Femi Babafemi, the Director of Media and Advocacy for the NDLEA, verified the development.

Officers discovered a secret compartment in the tanker’s belly that was meticulously constructed as a concealed storage area intended only for drug use during a targeted stop-and-search operation, according to Babafemi.
He wrote: “Narco-trend: Fuel tanker on top but drug tanker beneath! Please watch how #ndlea_nigeria officers discovered a large storage created in the belly of this oil tanker for the sole purpose of moving drugs across the country.”
