The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)’s Kaduna Zonal Directorate has arrested Muhammad Kabir Sa’ad, a social media content developer, on suspicion of misusing Nigerian cash.
Sa’ad, who goes by the name @youngcee0066 on Instagram and TikTok, provoked fury when he posted a video of himself walking on Naira notes, hurling them carelessly, and ridiculing anti-corruption investigators.
He daringly dared Hausa EFCC agents to “arrest him if they can” in the video. The EFCC was alerted to the offensive behaviour, which was extensively shared on social media and led to an inquiry.

Acting swiftly, operatives located and arrested Sa’ad in the Tudun Wada area of Kaduna State through intelligence surveillance.

He was taken into custody and is currently being interrogated at the Commission’s Kaduna Zonal Directorate.
A statement released by the EFCC confirmed that Sa’ad will be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.
His actions, the agency said, contravene existing laws against the abuse of the Naira.
The EFCC has consistently warned against the mishandling and abuse of the Naira, stressing that such acts undermine national pride and economic integrity.
