Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has reconciled with her estranged spouse amid a love scandal involving Chris Okafor, a pastor in Lagos.
The actress bent down to beseech him while they hugged and clutched each other in a widely shared video on the internet.
Doris had previously stated that Chris Okafor was the reason she divorced her husband. After eight years of a close relationship, Ogala has been criticising Okafor, the founder of Grace Nation International, popularly known as Liberation City, for leaving her to wed another lady.
The Lagos State Police detained her for slander. The actress revealed that the clergyman met with her privately at the station after her arrest and asked for pardon.

As part of their alleged peace agreement, the actress demanded a house from him. However, a few days later, she called Okafor out for paying her just $10,000 and vowed to expose his alleged criminal acts.
Following the controversy, Okafor stepped down from the pulpit and handed it over to some pastors under him.
Finally reacting to numerous allegations against Okafor, the Lagos state police invited him for questioning a few days ago.

In December 2025, Pastor Chris Okafor publicly apologised to Doris Ogala. He expressed regret and pleaded for forgiveness.
The pastor was shown kneeling in front of his churchgoers in a video that Ogala posted to Facebook on Sunday, apologising for what he called prior transgressions.
Remember how the Nollywood actress confronted Chris Okafor after he broke up with her while vowing to marry her.
Pastor Chris claimed he was apologising to anyone who was offended by his behaviour, but he insisted that many of the accusations against him were false.
“I am not joining issues,” he said, referring specifically to Doris Ogala. “Mistakes have been made in the past, and I tender my apology to everybody. But everything that was said is not true. There are so many lies in most of the things that were said.”
Despite disputing the claims, Pastor Chris reiterated his willingness to make amends, stating that he was ready to offer restitution to any woman he may have offended.
“To Doris Ogala, I will apologize, and I also apologize to everyone. I am ready to make a restitution to anyone and anybody, any lady, anywhere I’ve offended,” he said.
The pastor acknowledged his imperfections and appealed to the congregation and the public for forgiveness and prayers, noting that he had experienced a “new beginning” following the influence of senior Christian leaders he described as “fathers of faith.”
“I’m kneeling down before everyone and before the church. Forgive me. You can judge me. Pray for me,” he added.
