Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, is a controversial social media influencer and critic who has protested outside the FCT Minister’s gate in Abuja.
The FCT’s primary school teachers have remained on strike for nearly ninety days, according to The Intercept, since March 24, 2025, because the Area Council Chairmen have not implemented the new N70,000 national minimum salary.
On Monday, VDM assembled uniformed students and led a lesson in which he taught the kids the alphabet’s letters.
However, when approached, VeryDarkMan declined to talk with our journalist.
He insisted that the Minister’s gate would form the new classroom for the children.

At the time of filing this report, the students are currently on break, eating rice and chicken provided by VDM and friends.
