A corpse was discovered hanging from a mango tree in a jungle on Friday in Amichi, Nnewi South Local Government Area, Anambra State. This was a horrifying find.
The body of a pregnant lady was found in a jungle in Ideani, Idemili South Local Government Area, just two weeks before to this occurrence.
Tochukwu Ikenga, the State Police Public Relations Officer, verified the occurrence and said that the deceased’s phone was used by an unnamed individual to report the finding.
Ikenga, who notified the public through a press release, said: “The body has been identified and deposited in a morgue, with efforts ongoing to contact the family.

“The Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu, has directed officers to intensify surveillance and intelligence gathering to prevent crime and uncover the circumstances surrounding the incident.
“The police command is working to unravel the details of the unfortunate event and bring perpetrators to justice,” he said.
