On Sallah Eid Day, a tragedy occurred at the Kano GSM Market when a daytime fire destroyed over 300 stores and destroyed properties valued at millions of dollars.

According to reports, the destructive fire broke out at the well-known Farm Centre GSM Market in Kano State’s Tarauni Local Government Area at around 2:00 pm.

More than 300 stores were damaged by the fire, which was said to have begun inside the market’s (Dan Sileka) structure. Mobile phones and accessories suffered the most damage.
