Suspected bandits in Zamfara State’s Kurmi town, Maru Local Government Area, have kidnapped at least 25 women.
The women were allegedly en route to a wedding ceremony when the assailants stopped them and took them away, according to BBC Hausa.

In a different incident, 19 individuals were kidnapped in Galadi, a town in the state’s Tsafe Local Government Area.
The incident happened throughout the night, and several more were injured.

Residents of the impacted towns have experienced worry and terror as a result of both assaults.
