Tragic events occurred late Tuesday night in Aloshi, a town in Keana Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, when gunmen broke into the home of a 37-year-old man named Stephen Kwaghtomun, killing him instantly and robbing his 27-year-old wife.
The attack happened at approximately 11:30 p.m., causing panic in the neighbourhood and igniting new worries about the area’s worsening security situation.
According to witnesses, the armed attackers stormed the house, started shooting intermittently, then executed the victim, known as “Action,” and forcibly took his wife to an undisclosed location.
“The entire community is still in shock,” said one resident who requested anonymity for fear of reprisal.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the Nasarawa State Command, SP Ramhan Nansel, confirmed the incident in a statement on Wednesday.
“The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Keana division reported that the attack occurred around 11:30pm.
