Under the auspices of pro-Tinubu/Alia organisations, thousands of young people flocked to Makurdi, the capital of Benue State, on Thursday to demonstrate in favour of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia’s second term.

After that, the mob gathered near the roundabout that leads to Government House, where the state governor is scheduled to speak.

At the time this story was filed, young people from a number of organisations, including the Tinubu/Alia support group, had gathered and were awaiting the governor’s speech.
