Nigerian Afrobeats star Burna Boy has reportedly surpassed four billion total views on YouTube, becoming the first Nigerian and Sub-Saharan African artiste to reach the milestone.
The feat was reported in connection with the combined views on Burna Boy’s official YouTube channel, where his music videos continue to attract audiences worldwide.
The Grammy-winning singer has previously achieved major milestones on the video-sharing platform.
In 2021, Burna Boy reportedly became the first Nigerian artiste to surpass one billion total views on YouTube.
His catalogue includes hit songs such as “On The Low,” “Ye,” “Last Last” and “For My Hand,” which have garnered millions of views on the platform.

Nigerian musician Nissi has asserted that she is a superior vocalist to her Grammy-winning brother, Burna Boy.
Nissi asserted in a Cool FM interview that Burna Boy concurs that she is a better singer than him. But she acknowledged that Burna Boy is the superior rapper.
“I am better than Burna Boy at singing and almost everything. He is only better than me at rapping. We both actually agreed on the fact that I was a better singer,” she said.
Nissi launched her singing career in September 2016 with the release of her debut single, ‘Pay Attention.’ Since then, she has released a couple of songs and projects. She has also collaborated with many Nigerian and international artists, including Olamide and Fireboy DML.
The 2023 Range Rover model was designed and assembled by the Jaguar Land Rover engineering team, which included Nissi.
Additionally, she created the 2022 Havana Club X Burna, which won the Paris Packaging Week 2023 award for most inventive product.
Burna Boy is the top-ranked Nigerian artist on YouTube Music with 644 million monthly viewers.
Burna Boy has 6.41 million subscribers according to the most recent YouTube Music rankings.
Davido has 5.04 million subscribers and 25.4 million monthly viewers; Asake has 2.06 million subscribers and 11.6 million monthly viewers; Wizkid has 3.67 million subscribers and 24.2 million monthly viewers; and Seyi Vibez has 500,001 subscribers and 3.28 million monthly viewers.
