Singer and media personality Charly Boy says he is the replica of his father, Chukwudifu Oputa, when it comes to charm and a good body.
Taking to X, Oputa revealed that his father, a former student at Achimota College in Ghana, whose good looks and physique was a lady’s man.
Charly Boy revealed that 30 years ago, he posed for suggestive nude photos, confident in his own “banging body” and physique, despite being married.
He humorously noted the persistent attention from women, playfully attributing his charisma to his father’s genes.

Charly Boy wrote on X:
“There are times and seasons in everyone’s life. I heard stories of my beloved late father when he was single and young. He attended Achimota College in Ghana.
“Rumours had it that women no let the fine Bobo rest. He was always showing off his body cos he was a gym rat too. 30yrs ago, I took some suggestive nude pictures, bcos I knew I had a banging body and the women no let me rest even when they all knew I was married. Yea! You can say, na my papa born me”.

In 2020, Charly Boy, said that he has become a role model for the institution of marriage.
The statement comes after the 70-year-old songwriter went viral for proposing to his wife of about 45-years, Diane Oputa, in front of a crowd in a mall located in Lagos.
In a chat with newsmen, the love-struck septuagenarian who has proposed to his partner four times said he was ‘inspired by their friendship.’

“I did this to inspire people that there are still good and meaningful relationships. Relationships are not just about who has money or who is bringing money. It’s about genuine friendship because marriage is a difficult institution and if you find your partner that is more or less your friend and you have mutual respect, then those are the qualities that can endure longevity in a marriage.”
