Afrobeats musician David Adeleke, aka Davido, has said that his monthly personal costs in Nigeria range from $200,000 to $300,000.
The singer revealed this during a live performance on Davrel’s Twitch
He disclosed that the sum does not pay for expensive cars, jewels, household costs, or his wife’s expenses.
He claims that his spending differs depending on where he is. In the United States, where he lives with simply his wife and kids, he spends a lot less, but when he is in Nigeria, his expenses increase dramatically.

“I actually spend less in Yankee because I live with just me, my wife and my kids,” he said.
“When I’m around, I spend a lot more. We are balling every day.”
When pressed for a specific figure, Davido estimated his monthly costs at between $200,000 and $300,000, but clarified that the amount is deliberately capped and excludes major expenditures.
“I can’t tell you how much, but I can tell you like 300. Normally, probably like 200 to 300,” he added.
“This is minus my wife and the house… that one is closed. Minus buying jewellery or buying car.”

Earlier this month, Davido revealed that the majority of the songs on his upcoming sixth album, “ORIADÉ,” were recorded at home with his wife and kids, he disclosed.
The album will be released on July 31, which is also Davido’s 15th anniversary as a musician.
The 33-year-old artist, whose real name is David Adeleke, stated in an interview with Capital Xtra that the home environment necessitated a more subdued, personal creative approach.
Davido mentioned that the album’s approach was also influenced by creative sessions during a two-week stay at Coachella and that producers travelled from overseas to work directly with him.
According to him, the new piece reflects his current state of purpose and thankfulness.
“I recorded most of this album in my house. It was different for me because I am used to recording in the studio outside with my boys with me, alcohol and doing all that,” he said.
