“I Won’t Buy A Private Jet Even If I Can Afford It”-Don Jazzy

Don Jazzy, the founder of Mavin Records, has stated that he can afford to buy a private aircraft or any other luxury vehicle he desires, but he purposefully stays away from such luxuries in favor of investments, personal growth, and helping others.

The producer and music executive emphasized in an interview with Habby FX that creating lasting value is more important than showcasing material wealth.

He claims that although he has had the financial means for years to buy expensive cars or even a private jet, he sees these as diversions from more important responsibilities.

"I Won't Buy A Private Jet Even If I Can Afford It"-Don Jazzy

“I’ve been blessed enough for a long time to be able to afford any type of car I want or even buy a private jet. But I have more important things to take care of. Nothing beats investment,” he said.

According to him, investment is still of the utmost significance and can take many forms, including personal development.

Don Jazzy urged young people to value practical skills above traditional career pathways, pointing out that many traditional jobs are in danger due to the development of the internet and artificial intelligence.

“The forex that I’m learning now is an investment in myself. Tomorrow, it’s going to turn into something a skill I can use. Don’t just be useless. Go and acquire some skill,” he said.

He argued that aspiring to be a doctor, lawyer, or engineer is no longer the only route.

“You don’t have to be a doctor, lawyer, or engineer. In this internet and AI age, a lot of jobs will disappear. Why not learn something tangible?

“Even carpentry or furniture making, we still import tables and chairs from Turkey and China. If we had skilled people here, we could produce those things ourselves,” he said.
