Famous Nigerian singer Omawumi has spoken about her connections to the late producer Dokta Frabz and rapper Dagrin.
After their joint hit song “Thank God” was released in 2009, rumours surfaced that Omawumi and Dagrin were dating.
Omawumi confirmed that she had a platonic relationship with the late artist in a recent interview with Jay On Air.
He clarified that she was friendly with Dagrin and that they frequently spent time together when we were living together.

“Dagrin was my guy, we used to hanged out together. He was a fantastic person,” Omawumi said.
The singer, however, admitted that she dated late producer Dokta Frabz.
“I was drawn to Dokta Frabz because he such a lover of music. He was incredibly talented. He would look into my eyes while singing and I would be cheering.
“And because of that, I was always around him -in his studio. I met most of the music industry figures through Dokta Frabz. We actually dated,” she said.
Dagrin died in an auto crash in April 2010, while Dokta Frabz passed away in 2021.
