Nigerian singer Qing Madi has accused JTon Music, her previous record label, of trying to ruin her career.
The 19-year-old criticised the label on Tuesday after it allegedly removed “Pepper Me,” her new single with Zinoleesky, off the Spotify streaming service.
After losing a $1 million lawsuit against her, Qing Madi claimed that her former label, which she had left due to disagreements, has now turned to undermining her career.
She bemoaned the fact that the same individuals who tried to ruin Cynthia Morgan’s career are now pursuing her.
On her Instagram page, she wrote, “My ex label the same people that tried to destroy Cynthia Morgan are trying to do the same to me.
“It’s paining you that I didn’t give up even after suing me for 1 million dollars and losing your case.”
Qing Madi vowed to do all within her powers to ensure that the song is restored on Spotify.
Meanwhile, JTon Music is yet to react to the allegations.

In March, Qing Madi stated that the music business is just as profitable as the “drug” sector.
In a recent episode of the Tea With Tay podcast, Madi stated that a single performance can earn an artist what the typical Nigerian worker makes in a year or years.
The 19-year-old claimed that music has given her financial independence, but she doesn’t show off her fortune online because she doesn’t want it to define who she is.
“Music money is not normal, it is like drug money. I don’t think people know how… And I’m not the person who would buy stuff and put on the media because I do think that that would change the narrative of what I am to the media. And I don’t like people looking at me and seeing money. But I am rich.
“The average Nigerian works 9-5 and earns maybe N500,000 at the end of the month, while as an artist, you do one show and get N20 million. Music money is huge,” she said.
