IShowSpeed’s recent tour in Africa was allegedly a spy operation for Elon Musk, according to well-known Nigerian singer Seun Kuti.
Seun, who made this assertion in a widely shared video on the internet, revealed that he only learned about it two days ago.
Elon Musk sponsored the IShowSpeed tour to see “where his satellites have reached across Africa,” according to the musician, who described how the tour promoter and producer had approached him beforehand.

He said, “You can’t know the deals they’re making behind the scenes. You can’t know the people they’re talking to behind the scenes. You just think they’re coming to talk to you but they all have agender.
“After IShowSpeed’s promoter and producer of his African tour called that we want to see you and I agreed. But they didn’t call me again or come to the shrine again when they reached Nigeria, and the promoter is my friend but I don’t want to mention the name.

“I called and sent messages but none of them responded. After the whole thing, he started sending me some kind of yeye message. Well e no even concern me too much because I don’t really mind, so I let it go.
“Only to find out the day before yesterday that Elon Musk was the one that sponsored the whole thing to know where his satellite don reach for Africa. That’s why they were visiting bushy areas. So, all that was a spy job for Elon Musk”, he claimed.
IShowSpeed, a famous American streamer and influencer, who visited 20 Africa countries in January 2026, stated that the tour was to promote African culture.
According to Seun Kuti, his father, the late Afrobeat pioneer Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, did not forbid his wives from having extramarital affairs.
He went on to say that this was one of Fela’s worst mistakes, claiming that some of the ladies eventually contracted HIV from their other lovers and gave it to the late singer.
In a recent Instagram livestream, Kuti stated that he was the victim and refuted rumours that Fela was the one who infected his girlfriends.
He said, “Fela made many mistakes. One of the mistakes he made -one day, I saw a video of a lady online saying why are people praising Fela’s legacy despite him giving women HIV and dying of AIDS.
“I said, ‘Oh, Fela you see yourself?’ If Fela was a traditional man, he would still be alive. I will tell you something about him that you might not have known, Fela’s women all had other men.
“Fela did not keep his women to himself. He believed that as he is free to sleep with all the women, the women are also free to meet other men. His law was that they shouldn’t bring the men to his house.
