Afrobeats singer, Chimamanda Pearl Chukwuma, aka Qing Madi, has shared her thoughts about the Nigerian music industry.
The 18-year-old singer opined that the Nigerian music industry is “so dark.”
On her Instagram story, Madi wrote:
“The industry is so dark.”
Her opinion is in line the allegations of some of her colleagues like Reekado Banks, who recently claimed there is a “demonic” music executive sabotaging budding talents in the Nigerian music industry.
Last year, Qing Madi shared that she lost a lot of followers for preaching about Jesus Christ on social media.

Nigerian online streamer and content creator Habeeb Hamzat, aka Peller, has spoken up about the burden of being the bread winner of his family.
In a recent conversation with fellow TikToker Sandra Benede, the 19-year-old lamented that he is the breadwinner of his family despite his parents and elder siblings being alive.
Peller expressed that because he is the one saddled with the family’s financial responsibilities, he sometimes feels like he is a parent.
I don’t like seeing my family, Peller laments becoming breadwinner
He explained that he now prefers sending his family money for upkeep as he doesn’t wish to see them anymore.
Peller said,
“I’m not feeling okay. The other day, I slept off in my car till the next morning. I don’t like what I am facing in this young age. I’m not even up to 20 years. It is not fair.
