Afrobeats singer Tiwa Savage has refuted claims that she has sabotaged other female musicians.
She urged people who were accusing her of undermining her colleagues to provide evidence and cite their sources.
Victoria Kimani, a Kenyan artist, said a few years ago that Tiwa Savage had unintentionally prevented her from playing at a number of events.
In a recent Offair Show broadcast, Tiwa Savage responded by saying that she was being falsely accused of preventing other female musicians from obtaining bookings and that show producers might be deceiving other artists by exploiting her name.

“If you’ve heard from anybody that I tried to block your bag, mention names. Maybe the promoters are lying and using me, maybe they don’t want to book three, four girls. So, they claim I am the one blocking others,” Savage said.

Praise Onyeagwalam, AKA Director Pink, a Nigerian music video director, has disclosed the reasons behind her decision to abandon her acting career.
The celebrated cinematographer revealed that she left that line of work because of the s*xual exploitation and humiliation of aspiring performers.
Director Pink claimed in a recent interview with Hip TV that she changed careers to become her own boss because she was embarrassed by the long lines at film auditions and the suspicious calls she received from male filmmakers asking her to go to compromising settings.
“I wanted to be an actress but the humiliation was too much. Long queues, shady ‘come to this location’ calls. I said ‘No.’ That’s when I chose to be my own boss,” she said.
Director Pink went on to say that although directing music videos can be difficult at times, she is prepared to put in the effort for her work.
Stressing that it took those in their prime years to reach their current position, she advised aspiring music video directors to embrace delayed gratification and exercise patience.
