The musician Harrysong’s ex-wife, Alexer Peres, has declared that she would temporarily relinquish custody of their two young children, ages three and four.
Alexer revealed in a heartfelt video posted on her Instagram story on Thursday that she has been raising the kids by herself since their split, with the kids occasionally visiting their father.
“I didn’t plan to come on here, but I want this to serve as evidence that I’m making the hardest decision of my life. At this point, I have no option,” she said.
Alexer accused Harrysong of constant interference and harassment, saying he shows up unannounced, making it difficult for her to care for the children.
“This man has not let me rest. He frustrates my efforts and harasses me everywhere,” she added.
Alexer further noted that while she will respond to allegations in court, the emotional pressure is currently overwhelming.
“I’m giving him custody for now. That doesn’t mean I won’t come back for my children,” Alexer said, expressing concern over the children living with domestic staff in their father’s absence.
“No mother wants to live without her children, but I don’t know what else to do. I’ll always come back. I want you in my life,” she said.

The couple, who married in 2021, have been open about their marital difficulties.
Harrysong had requested privacy during their struggles, while Alexer publicly announced she was “officially done” with the marriage in January 2024.
Early this month, Harrysong disclosed that he is currently in a polygamous relationship.
The father of two said that all of his current girlfriends know each other in a recent interview with Yanga FM Lagos.
The American musician Neyo has three wives, and the Reggae Blues crooner emphasised that there was nothing wrong with polygamous relationships.
“I am currently in a polygamous relationship. Every one of his current girlfriends is acquainted with all the others. They are all doing well. And we are happy.
“Everybody is being treated right and respectfully. Everyone willing join. No one was forced. Neyo has three wives. Just do whatever makes you happy. So don’t force your opinion on anyone,” he said.
The singer added that some of his girlfriends are foreigners, including one from the United States.
