In Ugbokodo, Okpe Community, in the Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State, a man only known as Paul fatally stabbed his younger brother, according to confirmation from the Delta State Police Command, which is headed by CP Olufemi Abaniwonda.
In a text message to our correspondent in Warri, Police Public Relations Officer SP Bright Edafe verified the incident.
“Confirmed,” he said in his message, indicating that the suspect had been taken into custody.
According to The Intercept, the suspect and his son reportedly killed his younger brother Saturday by stabbing him to death on Thursday night at the Ugbokodo waterside during a fight over two thousand naira.

When it was discovered that the suspect’s wife’s two thousand naira had vanished, she suspected the dead, who denied taking the money earlier in the day.
During a furious fight, she grabbed his shirt and declared he was at fault.
Before neighbours stepped in and split them up, the deceased allegedly smacked his older brother’s wife during the incident.
Then, in a fit of rage, the woman contacted her husband, Papa Jeffery, who hurried to the scene. He allegedly requested one of his sons to go with him, without enquiring as to what had happened between his wife and his younger brother.
