Crackdown in Kano: Police Arrest 11 Suspected Thugs in Major Sweep

Eleven individuals have been taken into custody by the Kano State Police Command in relation to a thuggery incident that occurred in Medile Quarters.

This was stated in a news release given to The Intercept and signed by SP. Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the spokesperson for the Kano State police command.

According to him, the suspects broke into the area with dangerous weapons, attacked and injured innocent people, and took their possessions.

According to him, the suspects were arrested as a result of the police’s quick action, and they are currently being investigated. After the investigation is finished, they will face charges in court to face charges.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori reiterated the Command’s commitment to maintaining peace and order in the state.

He warned that all forms of thuggery will be dealt with decisively, and those found culpable will face the full wrath of the law.

The Command urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the police.
