In Port Harcourt, Rivers State, a fight between members of the Deygbam cult and a local vigilante group is thought to have killed at least two individuals.

According to reports, the event happened on Wednesday night at Echue Street in Mile 2 Diobu, which is in the state’s Port Harcourt City Local Government Area.

A member of the vigilante group known only as Sango was reportedly ambushed and slain by the cultists terrorising Port Harcourt’s Diobu neighbourhood.

“The Cultists engaged when. There was serious shooting between the two groups. In the course of the shooting, a stray bullet picked a young lady. The Vigilante group chased the cultists away.”
