An armed bandit raid on the fringes of Adabka Village in the Bukkuyum Local Government Area of Zamfara State has left many security officers reported missing.
In a post published on X on Friday, security analyst Zagazola Makama stated that the incident took place at around 8:32 p.m. on Thursday, when a huge band of robbers broke into the community and took many locals hostage.
Rapid response by joint security forces resulted in a heated gunfight.

“During the clash, four abducted villagers were rescued. However, two officers from the Police Mobile Force (PMF) and seven members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (JTF) went missing,” Makama wrote.
Search and rescue operations are ongoing to find the missing security personnel and any other abducted residents.
