Nigerian actress Uche Ogbodo has finally acknowledged that her marriage to Bobby Maris, her younger husband, ended in divorce.
The pair unfollowed each other on Instagram before this.
When the couple and the actress’s younger sister began posting mysterious messages on their Instagram Stories, the rumours intensified.
But in a post on her Instagram account on Tuesday night, Uche Ogbodo broke her silence during the scandal and acknowledged the crash by enquiring as to whether ending a marriage is a sin.

“I no do again nah sin?”
While emphasising on being tired of the marriage, she tagged her husband ‘princess’.

“I no do again nah Sin? Make nobody push me to the wall because I be rubber. 8 years of my life is not enough yet? Maybe I should give it 20 years or maybe 6feet under before the Crown of thorns can fit me well”, she wrote.
In May 2025, Uche Ogbodo opened up about her BBL surgery, stating it’s a mummy makeover.
With over a decade of industry experience, the multi-talented star has built a reputation for her dedication to her craft. However, it’s not just her roles that are evolving; it’s also her body, identity, and sense of self-worth.
In an encounter with Saturday Sun, the mother of three opened up on the challenging journey of motherhood, body changes, and her choice to undergo plastic surgery, a decision she now refers to as her “Mummy Makeover.”
For me, motherhood has been a journey of transformation, both beautiful and challenging. As I navigated the ups and downs of raising my children, I sometimes felt lost in the process. My identity shifted. While being a mother brings immense joy, it also made me question my self-worth and beauty,” she said.
Uche Ogbodo, who is married to a younger partner, emphasizes that her decision is not driven by societal pressure but rather a desire to reclaim her confidence and celebrate a new chapter in her life.
“The weight gain was challenging. I didn’t feel like myself anymore. Years of battling allergies, weight fluctuations, and self-doubt. I miss the woman I used to be and the woman I aspire to become.”
