Arsenal teenager already holds three Guinness World Records
At just 16, Arsenal teenager Max Dowman has already written his name into football history, with the young Englishman holding three Guinness World Records.
Dowman, who was born on December 31, 2009, became the youngest player to feature in the UEFA Champions League when he made his Arsenal debut in the competition against Slavia Prague on November 4, 2025. He was just 15 years and 308 days old at the time.
He went on to break another major record in March 2026 when he scored for Arsenal against Everton. At 16 years and 73 days, Dowman became the youngest goalscorer in Premier League history, breaking a record that had stood for more than 20 years.
His remarkable 2025/26 campaign ended with another piece of history. When Arsenal were crowned Premier League champions on May 24, 2026, Dowman became the youngest player ever to win the Premier League, aged 16 years and 144 days.
Dowman’s breakthrough season was not simply about records. According to Transfermarkt, he made 17 appearances for Arsenal’s first team in the 2025/26 season, scoring one goal and providing one assist. Arsenal also highlighted that he became the club’s youngest Premier League goalscorer and youngest player to start a Premier League match.
The left-footed right winger came through Arsenal’s academy after joining the club as a youngster and has represented England at youth level. He has made 10 appearances and two goals for England Under-19s.
For a player who is still only 16, Dowman’s list of achievements is already extraordinary. Three Guinness World Records, a Premier League title and a place in Arsenal’s first team have made him one of the most talke about young talents in English football.
