United’s afternoon worsened when Lisandro MartÃnez was sent off in the 63rd minute after receiving a second yellow card for elbowing an opponent, leaving Michael Carrick’s side with 10 men. Estêvão also had a goal ruled out following a VAR review in the 70th minute.
The victory takes Chelsea back into the Premier League’s top four, while Manchester United could drop into the relegation zone if any of the teams currently occupying 17th to 20th position win their outstanding games
