Nigeria’s Super Falcons have begun their campaign for a place at the 2028 Olympic Games after interim head coach Augustine Eguavoen invited 28 players for the second-round qualifying fixture against Comoros.
Captain Rasheedat Ajibade and goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie headline the squad, alongside defenders Michelle Alozie and Oluwatosin Demehin, midfielders Christy Ucheibe and Jennifer Echegini, and forward Gift Monday.
The squad also includes youngsters Christiana Uzoma, Farida Abdulwahab, Tumininu Adeshina, Favour Nkwocha, Shakirat Moshood, Oluwakemi Adegbuyi and Janet Akekoromowei.

Comoros will host the first leg on Friday, October 9, while Nigeria will host the return leg on Tuesday, October 13.
Both matches will be played at the Remo Stars Sports Stadium in Ikenne-Remo, as Comoros does not have a CAF-approved venue for international matches.
The players have been instructed to report at the AM2PM Hotel in Ijebu-Ode on Saturday, October 3.
The Falcons need to win on aggregate to advance to the third round of the Olympic qualifying campaign.
