Tottenham Hotspurs have agreed a $75m deal with Manchester City to sign Brazilian winger Savinho with additional $10m in add-ons.
The 22 year old is expected to undergo medical before completing the long term move to the North London club, more than a year after Spurs first attempt to signing the winger.
Savinho joined Manchester City from French club Troyes in 2024, but have since then struggled to get first team football making just 7 appearances last season. the 22 year old manage just 2 league goals across two Premier League season, but Tottenham have been attracted by his pace, dribbling and creative ability.
The winger was on fire back in 2023-24 season at Girona, scoring, 9 goals and providing 8 assists while helping them qualify for the UCL. The Brazilian also led the league in successful take-ons and progressive carries and chance creation.
Tottenham head coach Roberto De Zerbi is keen on adding more attacking options to his side and Savinho versatility could make him a key part of his plan.
Spurs have been busy in this transfer window, spending over $300m on new signings and are also in talks to sign another Manchester City winger Omar Marmoush, while Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo remains another target for the North London club.
