Top Nigerian actress Annie Macaulay Idibia has covered her ex-husband 2Baba’s name tattoo with a butterfly.
Her most recent Instagram posts on Tuesday night led to this discovery. Annie now has a butterfly tattoo covering the “Idibia” tattoo on her left chest.
This comes after the actress posted about moving on a few days ago. The now estranged couple split over a year ago.
Earlier this month, Annie Idibia refuted rumours that she has reconciled with her estranged spouse, musician Innocent Idibia, aka 2Baba.
Annie responded to the rumours in a post on her Instagram Stories. She said that the videos that sparked the rumours were outdated and inaccurate.

“Old videos circulating everywhere, false news everywhere,” Annie wrote.
The ex-couple was seen dancing inside a nightclub in the videos that went viral on social media last week.
But Annie’s post seems to have dispelled the rumours.
After more than ten years together, Annie and 2face announced their divorce in January 2025.
In March 2025, despite being separated from her former spouse, singer 2baba Idibia, Annie Macaulay stated that she is not a single mother.
The actress contended that she does not see herself as a single mother, but rather as a single woman parenting two children.
“I’m not a single mum,” she posted on her Instagram page. I am a single mother of two children.
In late January 2025, 2baba declared on Instagram that he was divorcing Annie Idibia and starting the divorce process.
“The marriage hasn’t been working for a long time,” he said. He revealed Edo State politician Natasha Osawuru as his new girlfriend a few weeks later.
Following 2baba’s announcement, Annie removed his surname from her social media handles but later reverted to it.
